Everything in this song just hit the right notes, be it the lyrics, the place it was filmed, or her presentation of it. Funny how my time in France was pretty much the same way, coming to terms, recovering, then living again.

One of the nicest compositions I’ve heard, despite its heartbreaking lyrics and feel. Probably the kind of song that one places on repeat after a heartbreak.

It’s been so long since I heard a piece that made me feel like dancing and twirling around the room. It’s as though the notes flow through and fill one’s body.

Been encountering so much good music from different genres this week, it’s almost overwhelming. The newest surprise came from #TATW’s episode #415. If you haven’t subscribed to Trance around the World’s podcasts, now’s a good time to start.

This mix is so fluid, the music wraps around you like water, yet it’s light and relaxing like fresh air. Truly blew my mind away with this track. Kudos to the team at Trance Around the World!

Leessang - The Pursuit of Happiness from their album Unplugged

Amidst all the kpop that’s being imported from Korea (they’re good in their own ways), Leessang shows once again exactly what music is supposed to be about.

To place it in Gary’s words, the three things that make up music are “Feel, Soul, My Life”. This song really bears testament to that and I can’t help but be drawn to its lyrics.
